Nana Otu Turkson (BSc (Hons), LLB, MSc., FRICS, MGhIS, Barrister)

Representative in Ghana

Nana is the former Administrative Secretary for the Honorary Consulate and is now its representative in Ghana assisting Bermudians and making representations where necessary.

Professionally Nana is a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor and a Barrister. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn and a Registered Surveyor in Bermuda.

In Bermuda, Nana worked for Government of Bermuda with the Department of Public Lands & Buildings where he was the Estates Lead for various Ministries including National Security, Environment, Legal Affairs and Transport Tourism & Municipalities and had a schedule involving most major projects involving Government land.

He is steeped in knowledge of Ghana’s culture, geography, economic development and political landscape. Nana has given presentations on Ghana at various fora in Bermuda and is passionate about promoting the synergies between Ghana and Bermuda to the mutual benefit of both countries.

Nana has been actively involved with Ghanaian groups and organizations. He is currently involved with “Jumuiya Ya Afrika” which is a Bermudian Charity promoting the synergies between Bermuda and Africa.
